We are a group of parents, spouses, siblings, friends and we all have someone we care about who has a problem with drugs and/or alcohol. We operate on a first-name basis, respecting your privacy and confidentiality. We provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where we all relate to the struggles and challenges of loving a person who has an addiction.
Our organisational values are built around Tika, Pono, Aroha (Integrity, Respect and Loving Compassion) which guides all that we do, both with whanau we support and in working together as in organisation.
If you have an organisation and would like to learn more about Families Overcoming Addiction we can come to you and deliver a presentation to your staff. We will outline what, when, where, how and who our service is about and provide resources, contact details and referral pathways.
